Two-seed Baylor men’s tennis earned a spot in the NCAA Round of 16 for the 14th-straight year after sweeping both No. 29 LSU and unranked Bryant in the regional championships Friday and Saturday in Waco. Eight-seed Baylor women’s tennis edged Rice 4-2 after a grueling three-and-a-half-hour match.
Sophomore men’s tennis player Maxime Tchoutakian not only experiences the common college problems, but also a language barrier, different customs, and a culture shock since arriving in Waco in January.
The Baylor men’s basketball team experienced a much different offseason training over the past month. The Bears cross-trained with seven other teams, which included football, rowing, gymnastics, tennis, lacrosse, soccer and baseball.
