Baylor students rolled up their sleeves this week as a blood drive hosted by Health Services and Carter BloodCare filled every available appointment, continuing an effort that has collected 900 units of blood from the Baylor community over the past two years.

Baylor’s newest student-led society hopes to inspire all students to think, dream, research and build.

Tri Delta hosted its fall philanthropy event, Delta House of Pancakes, in an effort to raise funds for its national philanthropic partner, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event featured live music, picture spots and all-you-can-eat pancakes.

Baylor University Police Department is investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred early Thursday morning on campus in the 100 block of Bagby Avenue, according to a Baylor Timely Warning sent to the university community Thursday. This location is near the Baylor Science Building.

“The billionaires who are buying the system don’t care who you are,” Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico said. “They don’t care about your politics; they only care about their profits. They don’t see us as Democrats or Republicans; they don’t see red or blue; they only see green. They see us as one group of people. One group of people they can rip off.”
