Baylor sophomore Jake Miller earned his first collegiate walk-off Sunday, giving Baylor a 5-4 win over Oral Roberts in 10 innings.
Baylor had plenty of chances to overtake Texas Tech in Saturday’s game, but when it mattered most, the Red Raiders hit their shots. The Bears either missed or turned the ball over before having a chance, falling 78-69.

The Lady Bears softball team took on New Mexico on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Getterman Stadium. The Lady Bears won 3-1, advancing their record to 8-0 for this season. Although this particular game wasn’t their strongest, Head Coach Glenn Moore believes the team is set for even more success.

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.
