As I graduate and apply to medical schools this May, I am confidently going into my future recognizing that I have not only maximized my chances of earning an acceptance to medical school, but I have ultimately prepared myself to solve the problems of the world.
Active Minds is doing events for finals such as providing food, self-care kits and activities for students to relax at Fountain Mall. There will also be a trail mix bar in the library on dead day for students to come and get a study snack.
In a time of constant communication, it seems like sending a letter is trivial and time-consuming. It might take a week or two to gain a response when you could have what you need within seconds of sending a text. However, the art of writing letters should be embraced and leaned into.

“Since July 1st, Baylor’s campus has had nine positives out of 48 tests,” Stern said. “And in the last month alone, we have had seven positives out of 29 tests, which is almost a 25% positivity rate.”

MSPL follows the model “Pray, Stay, Raise and Go” when facing disasters, according to Sarah Walker, BearAid senior coordinator for service. Directly following the disaster, BearAid stays in Waco, allowing first responders to do their jobs and praying for those affected. Now, BearAid and MSPL are in the raise phase.
