While the dazzling acts of Sing captivate audience members with vocals and dance skills, behind the stage, Waco Hall professional staff members and student workers manage and produce the lighting, audio, visual and overall performances.

Active Minds at Baylor is a group that describes itself as a place “in which students educate other students about mental health disorders by hosting different activities on campus.” The student organization is a part of a national organization, Active Minds, which looks to weaken the stigma surrounding mental health issues and to encourage those suffering from these issues to seek help.

Black History Month provides a purposeful opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds and ethnicities to partner together in celebrating the impact Black history has had on each of our lives.

Pi Kappa Phi and Kappa Alpha Order (KA) have been temporarily suspended from participating in campus activities after Student Activities received allegations of potential violations of university policy. Both fraternities are now under an interim pause on all chapter activities, including All-University Sing.

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.

Gas prices in Texas have surged more than 70 cents per gallon since the U.S. went to war with Iran three weeks ago. The near-total shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz has driven oil prices up more than 40%, pushing the national average to its highest point since 2023 and sending diesel past $5 for the first time in three years.
