No. 16 Baylor men’s tennis took care of business, dominating their Sunday doubleheader, winning 4-1 over Oklahoma State and 7-0 over Prairie View A&M at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.

Baylor men’s tennis came out firing on all cylinders and swept Southern Methodist University, 4-0, Thursday night in the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex in Dallas.
The Bears were led by junior right-handed pitcher Dariana Orme, who tossed the first seven-inning game in program history.
The Baylor Women’s tennis team came up short on Wednesday night against 4th-ranked Texas A&M at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center. The Lady Bears took an early lead after winning the doubles point, but were unable to keep the Aggies from taking control of the match in singles play and securing the 4-2 overall victory.
“We definitely competed harder in that particular match than we have lately, but ultimately we still fell short,” head coach Joey Scrivano said.
The No. 1 Baylor Lady Bears lead the Prairie View A&M Panthers 42-22 at the half.
Senior post Brittney Griner leads the team in scoring with 20 points, four rebounds, two assists and four blocks. Senior forward Destiny Williams contributed seven points off the bench.
