Baylor’s 2025 United Way Campaign celebrates 100 years of United Way of Waco-McLennan County giving back to the McLennan County community. To celebrate and honor this accomplishment, the name for Baylor’s campaign this year is “100 for 100!” and the goal is to raise $100,000 among the Baylor community.

The fundraiser, held in Fountain Mall, consisted of the sell of items like stickers and popsicles priced at $2. Along with the purchase, the buddies and Bitty and Beau’s — a coffee shop that focuses in employing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities — employees wrote thank you letters for supporting the foundation.

For the second year in a row, Texas Christian University challenged Baylor to the I-35 Battle Royale Young Alumni Challenge, a competition to see which university can raise the largest amount of donations between Sept. 24 and Oct. 8.

A Baylor fraternity reached out to students and the Waco community to help raise money for one of its own. Delta Sigma Pi hosted a fundraiser Tuesday and Wednesday to help Baylor graduate, Kelsey Warren. Warren was involved in a bad car accident on March 14. The fundraiser was hosted for Warren and her family to help out with travel and accommodation expenses. Warren’s parents live and work in Hanford, Calif.
