Baylor Buddies is a mentorship program that connects student volunteers with at-risk elementary, middle and high school students in the Waco community. The volunteers spend at least an hour a week with their buddy during the school day in a fun way, whether it be making crafts, playing games or simply talking.

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. The event was created in response to TPUSA’s presence on campus, but speakers and organizers consistently emphasized that the gathering was not merely reactive. Instead, it functioned as a faith-centered call to action, rooted in Christian teaching and expressed through civic engagement.

Aside from its sports bar atmosphere and eats, Hilltop Tavern is also home to the official watch party for Baylor’s away football games.
My life has gotten to the point where if I’m not in class I’m sleeping or doing something for Campus Kitchen. I have all sorts of plans and goals for the group, and I can’t wait to see Campus Kitchen reach its full potential on Baylor’s campus.
If you were unaware that folks were poking fun at the former hosts of NBC’s “Today” show, you are likely also unaware of a video making the rounds online. The clip, which dates from January 1994, shows Couric and Gumbel attempting to understand this new thing called … the “Internet.”

Make no mistake, on paper Baylor’s 2011 recruiting class is nothing to get too excited about.
On Jan. 15, 2011, Teresa Scanlan, 2010’s Miss Nebraska, was crowned Miss America. She is the youngest girl to win the pageant since the 30’s. She wants to go to law school and become a politician. Moreover, she is, by her own admission, a devoted Christian.
