President Donald Trump’s rally supporting Attorney General Ken Paxton in Waco, scheduled for Tuesday, has been moved to Corpus Christi, according to an email from the Republican National Committee.
Trump was originally scheduled to speak in Lubbock before traveling to Waco for a speech around 6 p.m. The updated schedule lists the president speaking in Corpus Christi at 2 p.m.
A location for the Lubbock rally was announced Monday, but a location for the Waco rally was never announced. Doors are scheduled to open for the event in Lubbock at 11 a.m., though it is unclear whether that stop will proceed as planned following the Corpus Christi change.
No reason for the change has been announced. This is a developing story. Information will be added as it becomes available.

Original report:
President Donald Trump will stop in Waco next Tuesday, Oct. 27, to campaign for Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton, Fox News reported Monday afternoon.
Trump is expected to begin the day in Lubbock before heading to Waco. His appearance is scheduled for 6 p.m., but a location has not been announced.
“Ken Paxton’s gone way up in the poll,” Trump told reporters Saturday. “I’m going to Texas again. I went there twice. And since I’ve been there, you know, these rallies have changed the whole ballgame. The rallies have been very successful and they’ve changed the whole ballgame. I think Ken Paxton now is leading by a little bit.”
Trump previously spoke in Waco in March 2023 during his 2024 presidential campaign, drawing thousands of supporters to Waco Regional Airport.
