Spiritual Life has promised a weekend of relaxation and spiritual growth to new students Friday and Saturday at Freshman Retreat.

Severe weather played as big a role as any potential Heisman Trophy candidate did during college football’s opening weekend, forcing delays in three games with two of those ending early.

The Chronicle of Higher Education recently named Baylor to its honor roll of great colleges to work for, for the first time. Thirty national universities categorized as large four-year colleges were named to the honor roll, among them Sam Houston State University and Texas Christian University.

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. The event was created in response to TPUSA’s presence on campus, but speakers and organizers consistently emphasized that the gathering was not merely reactive. Instead, it functioned as a faith-centered call to action, rooted in Christian teaching and expressed through civic engagement.
