A trio from Baylor’s speech pathology department is starting a speech impediment support group to encourage stutterers. The first meeting will be held at 6 p.m., on Oct. 8, in Baylor’s Neill Morris Hall room 123.

Fuzzy Friends Rescue is hosting their third annual zombie run to raise funds and encourage Waco to be a safe environment for pets. The fresh, or rather undead, take on the traditional fundraiser will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Indian Spring Park in downtown Waco.

All Are Neighbors, held in the Cashion Academic Center, drew 270 ticketed attendees, totaling 352 people, including VIP guests and speakers, nearly filling all available seats. The event was created in response to TPUSA’s presence on campus, but speakers and organizers consistently emphasized that the gathering was not merely reactive. Instead, it functioned as a faith-centered call to action, rooted in Christian teaching and expressed through civic engagement.
