The Baylor Lady Bears dared to be different as they finished the Fairfield Inn North Baylor Classic undefeated as they battled Northern Colorado to a 3-2 finish (25-20, 22-25, 18-25, 25-18, 15-9.)
The Lady Bears took the Ferrell Center court for their second match of the Fairfield Inn North Baylor Classic against The University of Texas Pan-American and finished victoriously, sweeping UTPA 3-0 (25-9, 25-19, 25-19.)
Baylor never made it easy on their fans, but in the end they got it done, knocking off the 14th-ranked team in the nation on national television.
The Bears will try to break 14th-ranked TCU’s 25-game regular season winning streak tonight on ESPN in their first home game of the season.
