A rising sensation in the modern country music genre, Ty Myers, will headline this year’s Howdy at the Hurd, put on by Pi Beta Phi. The free, students-only celebration will happen on Sept. 19 at 7:00 p.m.
On Aug. 8, Baylor filed a lawsuit against Boston University for its use of the logo, an image that Baylor has used since 1912. Baylor first confronted Boston over its use of the logo in 2021, but the iconic BU logo has since found its way onto more of Boston University’s memorabilia and is now associated with several of the school’s club sports.
Baylor junior running back Dawson Pendergrass suffered a season-ending foot injury during fall camp and will undergo surgery, head football coach Dave Aranda confirmed to reporters Saturday.
Tyler, the Creator has never been one to follow the musical norms, and once again, it’s apparent in his newest album, Don’t Tap the Glass. Released on Monday morning, Tyler creates a full-on 28-minute sprint that’s less about storytelling and more about music.
