Texas has earned a reputation around the country for its power grid failing under various conditions. Whether it’s power outages due to Hurricane Beryl or winter freezes, the power grid has failed Texans before, and now many experts worry about if its infrastructure can handle the strain of these new data centers.
A major legal issue that federal unions and lawyers are addressing is the fact that the lump sum that’s being promised may not be given to the employees who accept, since only Congress has the authority to approve the budget and payments, not the executive branch.
“I donate blood because I love to give when I can,” she said. “I know that there are people out there that are in need, and if I can help them, then I feel like it is my responsibility to.”
