Atlanta sophomore Jenna Benedict was diagnosed with dyslexia at the end of her third-grade year. After her diagnosis, she said she had to deal with a “toxic” fourth-grade teacher who did not believe learning disorders existed, refused to accommodate her and “bullied [her] into thinking [she] was stupid.” As hard as these experiences were, Benedict said they taught her a valuable lesson. She said she had to learn how to find her own strength and become an advocate for herself and others.
Baylor’s Latin Dance Society is aiming to reactivate and bring the beat back to campus.
After being sworn in, new BUPD Chief John Kolinek outlined a series of goals he said he hoped to accomplish as chief of BUPD, with one of those goals being engaging the student body and building relationships. Kolinek said he and other BUPD officers have been spending time attending events to meet students and have also put on events of their own to engage with students.
Results from a survey done and analyzed by Intelligent have shown that 34% of those who took the survey lied in their college applications about their race, falsely stating they were part of a minority group.

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.

The Iran war is now in its 46th day. Iran responded by restricting access to Hormuz, which carries about a fifth of the world’s seaborne oil, and moving to toll vessels transiting the strait.
