Baylor students attending the third day of the FM72 conference, an annual prayer event on campus, walked out of the event to the sight of offensive graffiti on some monuments and markers on Tuesday night near McLane Stadium.
Closing down a part of downtown Waco, the community came together to celebrate the national championship being brought back to Waco since the 1950s. Getting to hear from coach Scott Drew, multiple players and many people in both Waco and Baylor administration, it was an exciting time.
Hoffman Estates, Ill., junior Zach Tufenkjian came out on top in the external vice president runoff. Tufenkjian edged out Hunter Walker by 237 votes.
Baylor has stopped administering Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines after six women were diagnosed in the U.S. with blood clotting disorders within two weeks of getting the vaccine.

Lilia Gonzalez, director of nurses, said Health Services would remain available to monitor potential measles outbreaks and help students. Though the Texas measles outbreak has ended, Health Services continues providing preventative measures for other potential outbreaks.
