The option to replace Chapel with Vertical has allowed the ministry to reach more people. During the spring of 2022, the ministry hosted 15 students for their Chapel alternative option. This past fall, there were 150 students and this spring semester, with 500 students, the ministry’s impact is continuing to grow.

Edwards also said younger students entering high school should follow their passions. He said in his experience, the first time attending college was not fulfilling what he wanted out of life, and found what he really wanted at the time in the Coast Guard. He said he encourages students to “find their own route.”

“It’s not about passing money or giving out food, nothing like that,” Antonio said. “People don’t need that. They need love, they need that friendship. It’s scientifically proven.”

Baylor admissions continues to encourage the Baylor community to embrace the university’s growing diverse culture for this year’s admission turn.

“Recently, many of the shows have been sold out within 30-45 minutes,” Gilliam said. “Over 13,000 tickets will be sold for the show this year. There are 2,200 seats available for each of the six performances.”

Not all resolutions are too much to take on. Instead of setting long term goals, focus on the short term steps required to get there.
