The story follows an unlikely pair — a rather melancholy young man ready to give up on his love for music and a rather stubborn, determined young woman who loves music just as much as him and isn’t ready for his songs to cease.

Throughout his years at Brooks, Sriram said he and his wife have had enlightening conversations with residents on deep topics such as relationships and marriage. By interacting with the students on this level, Sriram said he and his family serve as a sort of second family for many students.
“The biggest thing that will never go out of style is just feeling comfortable in your own skin,” Austin said. “Just finding your own personal style is really important, and wearing things that you feel comfortable in.”
Named Angaza, which means ‘to shine’ or ‘illuminate’ in Swahili, the choir is fitting of its name, as the group has been gracing Waco with their vibrant dashikis of reds, blues and greens and their spirited performances since spring of 2022.
It only takes a flame to start a fire. For Dr. Heidi Hornik, chair of the department of art and art history, it only takes a painting to start a collection. Hanging on the wall of her office in the Hooper-Schaefer Fine Arts Center is the painting that started it all.
“I encourage anyone who has some sort of passion, if it’s artistic and creative or some other area entirely, just consider going into that and pursuing it,” Mosley said.
Drawing inspiration from the beauty of Baylor’s campus, Stokes painted a series of works over the COVID-19 lockdown, many depicting Pat Neff Hall. Because the campus was so empty at the time, Stokes said she was able to bring her supplies to the peaceful campus and create several open-air paintings under the sun.
“You may be looking at your notes and just reading them over and over and over, and that is not the most effective way to study,” said Baum. “That’s where I come in and show them when to study and how to study effectively so hopefully they don’t lose their mind.”
There are several downsides to the drink, including yellowed teeth, peaked anxiety and a drained bank account, but the health concerns don’t stop there. This poses the age-old question among diligent coffee consumers: to drink or not to drink?
The selfish motives of each member cloud the minds of The Crew, showing the viewer that even genius crumbles under disloyalty. So, if you can’t live without happily-ever-afters, you might want to think twice about watching “Kaleidoscope.”
These forgotten items are ones usually only mothers think of, ones that will likely ensure a much more comfortable college day-to-day life. Students often don’t consider these items when at home, but feel their absence greatly when on their own.
