That word — “harm” — has been the backbone of the ESA’s effectiveness. However, the Trump Administration is proposing to change the wording, which could put thousands of America’s endangered plants and animals at risk.
Last week, Gov. Greg Abbott and Texas Republicans passed Senate Bill 14, also known as the Texas DOGE bill, into law. The bill allows for the formation of the Texas Regulatory Efficiency Office, which looks to emulate the recent work by DOGE and Elon Musk at the federal level. The bill promises to “cut the red tape” and other regulations that might limit the prosperity of Texas businesses and the economy.
The three Baylor students whose visas were revoked earlier this month have now had their visas reinstated, according to university spokesperson Lori Fogleman. Seven years after its cancelation Daredevil has risen from the grave, with an entirely different set of showrunners. Despite the show’s higher budget, returning cast, CGI, and slick new look. There are still multiple plot holes, and weak storylines that hold it back from being a near-perfect season.
The movie is a Coogler original. It’s the first film he has written and directed that isn’t based on an existing IP or historical event. Essentially, it’s the lovechild of “Blade,” “From Dusk Till Dawn,” and “Lovecraft Country.” “Sinners” intricately weaves together the history, culture and music of the American South, set to a brutal vampire flick.
Last August, Cameron Park Zoo got a lot colder as a storm of South African penguins swept into a new $12.8 million habitat. The 11 pairs of penguins have been one of the zoo’s most popular attractions. While their cuteness is a big money maker, the zoo’s main work with the penguins is through conservation.

My advice: let Bob Iger and Kevin Feige worry about how their next two-part multiversal summer blockbuster extravaganza is going to sell to focus groups. Instead, go find a movie buried in the box office chart; there’s a decent chance you might watch something you like. And if you happen to think it’s hot garbage, go give a bad review on Letterbox.
“This is what I tell them — AI is not gonna take your job, alright? First and foremost,” Rivero said. “But the designers that are embracing AI, using AI and educating themselves in this new technology will take their jobs. Why? Because AI makes everything faster. It makes the things that we as designers don’t want to do.”
At its core, Reacher is a power fantasy. It lets its audience imagine a world where injustice doesn’t go unpunished — where a six-foot-three giant like Reacher can show up and save the day whenever needed. It’s this same fantasy that made season one a smash hit years ago. While season three tries to go back to the same basics that made it popular, it unfortunately falls short of the high standard’s set.

School vouchers, also known as school choice, have been a controversial subject in Texas education for the past four years. The program uses Texas’ state funds to help parents pay for their children’s homeschooling or private school education. Many educators on both sides of the political aisle have spoken against the program. Other politicians argue that it gives Texas children the opportunity to learn in the best quality environment.
“Serving as president and carrying on from those before me is a distinct honor and privilege,” Haines said. “Particularly because as I have looked at the list of presidents, there are many that I have known and have been friends with, never imagining that I would ever become president of such an esteemed organization.”
However, many EPA workers and officials argue they need their budget to help protect the day-to-day health of the American public. From monitoring chemicals and goods in the marketplace to providing grants for environmental research and infrastructure to enforcing laws against environmental waste, the EPA isn’t just an environmental org, but a safety net for the health and safety of many Americans.
Over the last decade, more and more sports leagues have been programmed to try to drain every last dollar they can from their fans through multiple subscription services for games, high stadium prices or overpriced gear — or in this case, renaming every sports award, game or halftime show after companies and brands.

Student businesses like Koroluk’s aren’t bringing in millions upon millions of dollars daily. Therefore, he doesn’t have the financial capital to absorb any damages tariffs and inflation can unleash at a time. This means nearly everything from the production to even the shipping itself has to adjust until the economy settles down.
The issue some lawmakers and teachers have with Project 2025 regarding the DOE is the funding the DOE provides to thousands of local schools and programs through its $80 billion budget.
