The film centers around the filmmaking duo Werner Herzog and his temperamental partner, actor Klaus Kinski. Moore said his inspiration to make My Dinner with Werner was the duo themselves and the events that characterized Herzog and Kinski’s moviemaking partnership. Braden Thommarson | Broadcast Reporter The Outrageous Idea of Christian Teaching, a new book authored by Baylor professors Perry Glanzer and Nathan Alleman, explores the idea of intersecting identities as a Christian and a professor. Dr. Glanzer and Dr. Alleman surveyed over two thousand professors at nearly fifty universities across North America to compile a well-sourced research piece. “I actually didn’t think we would get many responses,” Dr. Glanzer said in an interview with Lariat TV News, “but then we started looking at the data.” The professors they surveyed had indeed responded and responded with valuable information for their research.…
Braden Thommarson | Broadcast Reporter On January 18, the Mayborn Museum Complex opened a new exhibit based on the Disney Junior television program The Lion Guard, the continuation of the hit Disney movie The Lion King. Museum assistant and communications director Rebecca Nall said that the exhibit was the first museum exhibit to be based on the television series. The exhibit, which is primarily geared toward younger families, features a rock wall, drum activity, and many other interactive activities for community members to enjoy. Baylor Wake has been around since 2009 and has grown from a small group of people with a love for the sport to a full-fledged university organization with its own high-performance boat.
