    Soccer back on pitch early

    Baylor soccer defeated Sam Houston State 3-0 Monday at Betty Lou Mays Field.

    Baylor did not allow a shot in the game.

    Junior forward Dana Larsen, junior forward Michelle Hagen and freshman midfielder Alexa Wilde were the goal scorers.

    The game is the first of five the Bears will play for their spring schedule.

    Baylor will next play North Texas at 3 p.m. March 4 in Denton, followed by a game with Big 12 Champion Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. April 1 in Stillwater, Okla.

    The final of three road games will be against Texas A&M at 7 p.m. April 14.

    Baylor finishes spring play against Stephen F. Austin at 4 p.m. April 21 in Waco.
