Under the heat of the Texas sun and into the cool of the hazy, dusty evening, weekend two of Austin City Limits music festival made for a monumental listening and viewing experience, thick with artists of varying sounds and genres, from Latin to country, and pop to experimental rock.

This year, Austin City Limits was a sea of glitter, fishnets and cowboy boots. Between the multitude of sun-protecting head scarves and colorful hair accessories, the festival was filled with unique attire and expressive fashion choices.

If you’re eager to know what some of the most commonly-spotted looks will be at Zilker Park this year — whether that’s to try out these fun trends or to avoid them and stand out from the crowd — here is a brief fashion forecast.

“If I were to die tomorrow, I don’t want people’s experience with me to be like, ‘Oh, he had a lot of money,'” Kagen said. “He stayed in one place his whole entire life. Yeah, he was great. This guy was a great accountant’ — nothing against accountants.”

With full sun and temperatures in the ’90s, this past weekend made for a great second round of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Upon arrival at Zilker Park, we were greeted each day with the familiar, colorful flags and signage as we walked in. As the afternoon progressed, flocks of attendees morphed into one giant crowd. Between abundant hydration breaks, here are the live music sets we visited.

In the crowd at ACL, the community created by Movements is larger than the sum of its parts. As Miranda goads a mosh pit into existence and plays on while long-haired, shirtless and sunburned fans crowd surf, something is created that goes beyond the headcount.

When my friends and I are overwhelmed with work and losing motivation quickly, we like to get in the car and take a day trip. It might look like my advice is simply to run away from your problems, but that’s not it at all. Sometimes, all you need is a day of fun to get yourself motivated again and to forget about all the stress for a bit.

There are tons of options from Venezuelan food, pizza, sandwiches and more to sweet treats, juices and acai bowls galore. There’s truly something for any taste at Zilker Park.

Kendrick is more than a rapper. He is a born performer, and it showed in the way he played with the camera angles and backup dancers, who all wore masks of his face. Lamar looked into and away from the camera at different times, all while staying on beat.
