For all the negative habits you are certainly instilling in yourself during your time at Baylor, there’s one positive habit worth forming that makes up for it: take a short trip out into nature.

Now that the winter months have passed and the sun is consistently shining, there are so many opportunities to be outside and enjoy the fresh air. One of my favorite ways to enjoy the nice weather has been taking walks outside. Walking has consistently improved my mood, eased my anxieties and provided a fun way to exercise.
The city of Waco is hosting an eight-week community program beginning Saturday, Sept. 7 called Let’s Walk Waco. In light of this event, two undergraduates share their love for going on walks together and the benefits walking brings to their lives.
