The downtown food hall transformed into a Halloween destination, with each vendor decked out in festive decorations and ready to hand out sweets to a steady stream of visitors.

Joanna Gaines’ signature design style met a childhood icon this weekend, as her new Barbie Doll and Hearth & Hand Townhouse debuted in-person for the first time at Silobration — Magnolia’s 10th annual celebration in downtown Waco.
Art Center Waco will spotlight five Austin-based female artists at the In Her Element exhibition. The showcase is in partnership with Women & Their Work, an Austin-based nonprofit focused on uplifting and advancing women in the arts. The opening reception is on Thursday at 6 p.m. and will run through Oct. 31.
Suddenly, high-pitched screams erupted, heads flipped toward the glowing stage and the crowd surged forward as the man himself stepped up to the mic and kicked off the night with “Never Get Tired (of Loving You).”
Attendees stood with arms raised in worship as Daigle sang hits throughout the night, such as “Look Up Child,” “Trust In You,” “Rescue” and her new single, “Let It Be a Hallelujah.” In between songs, she interacted with the crowd by signing a poster, shouting out a fan who brought her Super Bowl jersey and listening to the worship as she let the voices in the crowd cry out during choruses.
“It’s a really cool place to catch a show and catch a festival because you can camp, you can stay in the cabin and go to the waterpark during the day until set time starts,” Green said. “So it’s kind of an all-ages type environment; it’s a comfortable place to bring your kids and have fun and take them to a show, a little bit different than a lot of mega festivals are.”
