Senioritis is hard. It’s not because of a choice to suddenly become “lazy,” but because, for the first time, I can see what’s beyond the finish line, and I feel ready to move on with my life.
To the underclassmen who are annoyed at having to reroute their way to class or lunch because there is a mob of seniors taking photos that you’re probably photobombing, we get it. In fact, we are annoyed with ourselves as well.
It’s OK to take time to figure out what you want to do with your life. There are so many paths you can take that it really does take time to figure out which way is best. Stressing early on about what the future after graduation looks like will make you hate your senior year.
