“We will be looking for more ways to enhance affordability, and growing our endowment is one of the best ways to do that, so [Student] Foundation scholarships are certainly critical,” Livingstone said. “The Student Foundation has done a tremendous amount of work to raise funds for student scholarships… They are wonderful ambassadors for our campus.”

“The main changes with the new form should be really helpful once they get all of the kinks worked out. The fact that parents and students can each file their own form with the Department of Education then connecting those together is really helpful,” Rounke said.

From the Galapagos Islands to New Zealand, Baylor’s study abroad programs offer various destinations for students — with a price tag. However, the Center for Global Engagement offers financial resources and support for students who are doing summer, semester and winter study abroad trips.
The 2024 Baylor Giving Day raised more than $2.24 million from the Baylor Family on Tuesday to fund academic initiatives and student scholarships. Since September 2010, the President’s Scholarship Initiative has accumulated more than $100 million toward student scholarships, surpassing a goal set for the end of this year.
At Tuesday’s Dr Pepper Hour in the Bill Daniel Student Center, President Ken Starr announced that his goal of raising $100 million toward scholarships by December 31, 2013, had not only been met sooner than expected, but had been surpassed.
