When we start getting into the more foundational aspects of political and cultural life, like whether or not gender or sex exist in an objective reality, the effort to seek a middle ground becomes intellectually dishonest and logically fallacious, because a middle ground simply does not exist.

In response to social media claims regarding Baylor’s religious exemptions from Title IX, President Linda Livingstone released a statement Monday clarifying that such exemptions do not impact how Baylor handles sexual harassment cases.
Tenure is given as a reward to faculty that have proven excellence and loyalty to Baylor. As a policy, that’s fine, but is it currently set up to incentivize professors to stay on the cutting edge of current trends, technology, practical theories and innovation? Perhaps it’s time to reevaluate the policy and add additional reviews, incentives and requirements for all tenured faculty in order to retain their tenure status.
