The Bears came up short of advancing to the Big 12 Championship semifinals, as they fell 4-2 to the Sooners on Friday at the Jayhawk Tennis Center at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kan.

The Baylor women’s tennis team won both of its first two matches as part of a doubleheader on Saturday at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.
“Ultimately, I don’t know what the identity of the team is right now,” Scrivano said. “We’re going to find out. You don’t know until you get in the heat of the battle and you go through some adversity. I am confident that these kids will respond really well this year.”
