It’s here. Finals week — the week we’ve all been dreading and a hopeful sign that the semester will soon be over. While this week is sure to be filled with frantic studying and caffeine-induced panic attacks in Moody Memorial Library, music is the one thing that everyone on campus will be using for motivation and stress release. Here are some top new tracks for every finals mood.

Kweller had experienced a nosebleed on stage and attempted to stop the blood with a tampon thrown on stage by an audience member, which only lasted two songs, and then Kweller had to leave. The next day, Coyne put fake blood on his forehead and asked the audience members to throw tampons at him to help absorb the blood.
Paramore continues to abandon their pop-punk roots of the past for a more indie-rock and post-punk focused style with an almost vintage tinge.
If gushy indie music is your jam, you’ll love, well, really anything by Leith Ross. “(You) On My Arm” comes just in time for Valentine’s Day. It’s a soft, pretty song with lovely lyrics that just make the rest of us want to lie down in the street a little bit.
