The Bears came close to claiming their first away Big 12 conference series after winning game two against Oklahoma State, but the No. 17 Cowboys crushed the Bears 7-1 in the series rubber match to claim a 2-1 series victory on Monday.

While the season did not take the path many expected, it could end the way many predicted with Oklahoma State in the drivers seat for a Big 12 championship once again.

With a win over Oklahoma in the Bedlam rivalry game, the Cowboys can clinch the Big 12 title and a berth in the Fiesta Bowl for the second time in three seasons.

The No. 4 Baylor Bears are perfect no more after the No. 10 Oklahoma State Cowboys upended the Bears 49-17 on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Okla.

With the score knotted at 0-0 late in the first quarter, the tide of the game swung in Oklahoma State’s direction when Baylor junior quarterback Bryce Petty was racing for what looked like an easy touchdown, instead Petty tripped in the open field and stumbled untouched to the 1-yard line.

The games just keep on keep on getting bigger for Baylor. Only two weeks ago, fans were hoping Baylor could get some legitimacy as a program with a test against No. 10 Oklahoma. After passing that test with flying colors, Baylor destroyed Texas Tech. Every test that Baylor has been given, it has aced.

The eyes of the nation will be on Stillwater this Saturday night as No. 4 Baylor (9-0, 6-0) puts everything on the line in a program-altering matchup with No. 10 Oklahoma State (9-1, 6-1). Baylor has not won a game in Stillwater since 1939.

The 15th-ranked Baylor men’s tennis team swept the Oklahoma State Cowboys 7-0 Sunday at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco. The Bears extended their win streak to seven matches and are now 3-0 in conference play.

The No. 16 Baylor Lady Bears will continue conference play with a three-game series against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls. The first game will be at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Getterman Stadium.

Baylor baseball split a road series with No. 20 Oklahoma State over the weekend. The Bears fell in game one on Friday 5-0 and then won in extra innings 5-3 on Saturday. Game three was scheduled for Sunday but was cancelled due to inclement weather. The Bears are 11-13 overall and 1-1 in the Big 12 Conference.

The Baylor baseball team opens up Big 12 Conference play on the road in a three-game weekend series against the No. 20 Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Bears will take on the Cowboys on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater.

The Baylor Bears defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Monday, 64-54. The game featured breakout performances from freshman center Isaiah Austin and junior forward Cory Jefferson: both Austin and Jefferson posted double-doubles on the stat sheet. They also clearly impacted the game with their shot blocking and interior defense.

“We just wanted to be aggressive,” Austin said. “We wanted to control the paint and that’s what we did.”

The Baylor Bears defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys 64-54 on Monday at the Ferrell Center. With the win, Baylor improved to 4-1 within the Big 12 Conference and 13-5 overall. Baylor’s next Big 12 game will be on the road Saturday against TCU.

Baylor football can finally say it beat the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 41-34.

“Last year, we had a great season, outstanding season, Heisman trophy winner and all that kind of stuff, but I wouldn’t trade this season for the world,” sophomore nickel back Ahmad Dixon said. “These seniors and these other guys that are here with me, we have grown tremendously, speaking for myself not just as a football player but as a young man. These guys, in our down times have taught me so much. Looking to these guys when I needed them, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

No one on this Baylor football team has ever beaten the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

“To beat them would be a great wrap up to my career,” senior wide receiver Terrance Williams said. “OSU is a team that we as a senior class haven’t beaten yet, so to beat them here would be a great wrap- up.”

Baylor’s last win against Oklahoma State came in 2005, a 44-34 victory.

The winning streak extends to 10 games for the No. 21 Baylor baseball team after they beat the Oklahoma State Cowboys 3-2. Senior right-handed pitcher Trent Blank earned the win and moved to 7-0 on the season. The Bears are now 21-7 on the season and remain atop the Big 12.

No. 21 Baylor baseball will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a three-game series this weekend. The Bears have won eight straight and have scored at least eight runs in each game over the course of this streak.

No. 6 men’s basketball won a close game in Stillwater, Okla. on Saturday against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 64-60. This game had a very different feel than the previous meeting against Oklahoma State that Baylor won 106-65 on Jan. 14 in the Ferrell Center.

The Baylor men’s basketball team will travel to Stillwater, Okla. to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys at 12:45 on Saturday. While the Cowboys are only a .500 team, the Bears are 0-8 in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

I am absolutely thrilled with your decisions this year. Although the vast majority of America wants to see a playoff system and there are probably ways to have that make more money anyways, you guys have really stuck to your corrupt principles and kept the BCS Championship series.
