As the No. 4 seed in the Lower Right Regional, Baylor volleyball is set to host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament at the Ferrell Center. Additionally, the Bears had four players chosen for All-Conference, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

While school was out of session for students to enjoy Thanksgiving with their families, Baylor Athletics continued trucking as it feasted. No. 17 Baylor volleyball survived Houston’s upset attempt Saturday in the Ferrell Center, taking down the Cougars 25-19, 18-25, 25-16, 21-25, 15-10. On Senior Day in Waco, outside hitter Elise McGhee celebrated the occasion with a 22-kill double-double.

No. 17 Baylor volleyball went up against Texas Tech on Wednesday night at the Ferrell Center. After a hard-fought match, the Bears took the match in a sweep, 29-27, 25-18, 25-18, recovering after the losing their eight-match win streak last week.

No. 17 Baylor volleyball fell to No. 12 Kansas, 25-22, 26-24, 25-17, on Saturday at the Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena in Lawrence. The heavy-hitting Jayhawks were too much for Baylor to overcome, as they snapped the Bears’ eight-game winning streak.

No. 17 Baylor volleyball is gearing up for another week of back-to-back conference games. The Bears will travel to face Texas Tech on Wednesday at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock and then return home to clash with UCF on Saturday at the Ferrell Center.

No. 17 Baylor Volleyball added another game to the win column with a 3-0 sweep against Colorado Friday night in the Ferrell Center, 26-24, 25-16, 25-20. Senior outside hitter Elise McGhee continued her dominant hitting streak, tallying 24 kills in only three sets.

No. 18 Baylor volleyball returned to form in the final matchup of the Baylor Invitational, sweeping Samford in three sets, 25-13, 25-19, 25-12, Sunday afternoon at the Ferrell Center. After a difficult week that included being swept by SMU and a less-than-perfect win over LSU, huge offensive performances from junior opposite hitter Allie Sczech and senior outside hitter Elise McGhee propelled the Bears to their seventh win of the season.
