Native Wacoan Bilal Siddiq is a personal trainer, a Group X abs class instructor and a fitness model. On top of all these things, Siddiq still finds time for his degree in pre-med health science studies.

The Baylor Mock Trial Team won fifth place in its division and had three All-American award winners in the National Championship Tournament last weekend at the Hamilton County Courthouse in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Baylor Model United Nations team was recognized as an “Honorable Mention Delegation” and given “Outstanding Position Paper” for one of their policy position papers at the National United Nations Conference that took place between March 28 and April 3 in New York.

Pearland sophomore Mark McComb and Dr. Larry Lehr, senior lecturer of environmental science, took their biodiesel project to the Baylor Science Building’s labs for the first time last week in order to grasp better understanding its abilities. In the next few weeks, Lehr and McComb plan to travel to Abilene Christian University in order to work with the biodiesel reactor alongside another group of scientists to see what they need to improve or change in their own process.

“Be the standard.” All throughout society we aim for perfection. We aim to not only to succeed, but to triumph. Hardly ever does anyone just want to be standard. These short words that carry no value to others, inspire, encourage and drive Baylor as a whole.
