Those attending tonight’s Student Senate meeting may want to bring their leis and cowboy hats.

At 5 p.m. in 203 Cashion Academic Center, the Baylor Student Senate will vote on two bills concerning funding for Pi Beta Phi’s All-University Howdy and Beta Upsilon Chi’s (BYX) Island Party.

The intersections of Christianity, Islam and Judaism, and their impacts on politics will be the focus of the Annual Hugh and Beverly Wamble Religious Liberty Lecture at 2 p.m. today on the fifth floor of the Cashion Academic Center.

Baylor will be the first of nine schools to kick off IBM’s Smarter Planet Comes to You University Tour on Tuesday at the Cashion Academic Center.

Students in the market for an internship or post-graduation job can potentially find employment at Baylor Career Services’ STEM Job Fair, Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Cashion Academic Center. This is the first successful year to hold the fair in the last two years due to the previous state of the economy.

Graduating seniors looking for help with their job search need only turn to Career Services for assistance.

Robert Nash, public relations director for Austin’s Sherry Matthews Marketing Advocacy, will be the guest speaker at the Public Relations Student Society of America’s meeting at 6:30 p.m. today in the fifth floor of Cashion Academic Center.
