Though BSM has been housed in a single room in the Bobo Spiritual Life Center since the 1970s, the new facility on 4th Street and Daugherty Avenue will provide ample space for BSM’s staff and various ministries. The new building will be fitted with a 400-person capacity event room, offices for staff, a prayer room, a common area with ping-pong tables and a For Keeps coffee shop.

The 2012 “Seminary Day” at Baylor will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Bobo Spiritual Life Center and will feature at least 20 seminaries and divinity schools from around the nation.

Love where you live is the anthem of Spiritual Life Center’s Urban Missions. The purpose of Urban Missions is to provide students a chance to engage the Waco Community through various ministries, such as inner-city kids clubs, after-school tutoring and hunger-relief.

Every year, millions of children all over the world lose their parents, either from disease, hunger, disaster or abandonment. In the book of James 1:27, one of the hallmarks of “pure and undefiled” religion is to care for the orphans and to take up their cause.

Looking for inspiration to guide your prayers? Throughout the Lent season, black and white photos of the Stations of the Cross will be on display in the Bobo Spiritual Life Center’s chapel for reflection. Prayer guides are provided, and at 3:30 p.m. every Friday a group will meet for joint meditation.
