Unlike the previous meets this season, the Big 12 Championship is a team meet. Until now, track and field athletes have been competing for individual scores and ranking. This weekend in Iowa, the team has a chance to pull together and work toward one win as a whole.
The No. 14 Baylor women’s soccer team advanced to the second round of the Big 12 tournament with a 3-0 win over the Oklahoma State Cowgirls Wednesday night. The Bears will next take on Texas Tech on Saturday in San Antonio. All four Texas teams, Baylor, Texas Tech, Texas and TCU, advanced to the second round.
