The Texas “trigger law,” set to make abortion illegal in the state 30 days after the U.S. Supreme Court’s judgment overturning Roe v. Wade, will take effect Thursday. This law is called The Texas Human Life Protection Act.

Three months into the 14-month construction plan, Collins Hall renovations are on track. According to Curtis Odle, associate director for facilities and operations, the residence hall is set to reopen in August 2023.

The U.S. stock market just got a Texas-sized addition. The Texas Stock Exchange received approval from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a new stock exchange, with TXSE set to begin trading stocks by early 2026.
