Baylor announced this morning that all final exams scheduled for today would be moved to next Thursday and administered online after a nationwide Canvas outage disrupted studying and caused confusion across campus.
Hours before final exams begin for Baylor, a nationwide Canvas outage has left Baylor and thousands of other schools without access to the learning software and all of the study materials stored within it.
A group of sociology students worked with their professor to study the connection between loneliness and companionship, finding that quality of relationships combat loneliness more than quantity of relationships.
Jonathan Echols, the Career Center’s communications and media manager, said academics aren’t always the reason students feel unprepared to face the shifting job market. Echols said those who actively work on post-graduation employment are the ones who find it.

From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, zookeepers at the Cameron Park Zoo rarely get a moment off their feet, spending the vast majority of their time training and caring for the more than 1,700 animals across over 300 species currently housed within the zoo’s boundaries.
In partnership with Waco Habitat for Humanity, Amy’s Attic will host its first “Cars for a Cause” event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at 1821 South New Road. The event will include a car show along with local food trucks and vendors, raising funds for the humanitarian efforts of Habitat for Humanity.
