There are prehealth workshops like this throughout the semester. The next two are on March 3 and March 17. According to the registration page, the March 3 workshop will provide trail mix to “savor the admissions experience,” and the March 17 workshop is called “How to Be a One in a Melon Applicant” and will provide sour watermelon candies to students who attend.
“I think what’s unique about Baylor is that there is that fourth component that I think all organizations should start with, just incorporating the faith throughout whatever we are doing,” Bui said.
Wright pointed to hands-on learning as essential to not only a practical way to truly understand one’s work, but also as a way to gain practical experience in the field of management consulting. He said that students ought to be able to include the class –– during which they split into groups to partner with local businesses –– on resumes just like any consulting internship.
Baylor department of art and art history hosted “Concept is King! The Design Summit 2025” Wednesday morning for students, faculty and the public. The event included three keynote speakers with varying backgrounds in design or technology who spoke about artificial intelligence usage in their work.

Texas voters turned out in historic numbers Tuesday, delivering victories for State Rep. James Talarico and forcing a runoff between Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the state’s U.S. Senate contest that claimed national attention. The total early-voting turnout of more than 2.5 million marks the highest ever for a midterm primary election. The results also kicked off the 2026 midterm cycle.

The Iran war is now in its 46th day. Iran responded by restricting access to Hormuz, which carries about a fifth of the world’s seaborne oil, and moving to toll vessels transiting the strait.
