With graduation quickly approaching, seniors have begun to reflect on their times at Baylor and the mark they have left on this community.
The women led the day for Baylor track and field, bringing home eight of the 10 wins for the Bears at the Michael Johnson Dr Pepper Classic on Saturday in Waco.

Most students spent spring break lying out on the beach, skiing on the slopes or just finding some way to relax. Baylor track and field, however, spent the week preparing for and competing in their first outdoor meet of the season.
The Baylor basketball team isn’t the only Baylor team competing in a championship game this week.
Baylor didn’t bring home the Big 12 Team Indoor Championship title last weekend — the women finished fourth, and the men fifth — but was supported by great individual performances.

Junior Brittney Griner became the first NCAA Division I women’s basketball player to eclipse 2,000 points and 500 blocks in a career as the No. 1 Lady Bears beat Kansas State on Saturday in Manhattan, Kan. Griner had 29 points in the victory.
Rules are made to be broken. The same could be said for records.

Women’s cross country competed against a tough field that featured eight regionally ranked teams and finished sixth overall on Friday in Toledo, Ohio, at the Toledo Inter-Regional Bubble Buster.
Baylor fans have plenty to follow this weekend as several teams are in action: men’s tennis will be home Friday, Saturday and Sunday for their season opener in the HEB Invitational, women’s cross country competes Friday at the Toledo Inter-Regional Bubble Buster meet in Toledo, Ohio, and on Sunday and Monday, women’s golf will be at the Dick Maguire Invitational tournament in Albuquerque, N.M.
The Baylor men’s team finished second and the women’s team finished fourth on Saturday as the cross country team hosted the Baylor Invitational.
Senior Zac Flowers ran his personal best for the season with a time of 19:27.6 in the 6,000-meter course. Flowers led the men’s team and gained a 12th-place finish.
The men’s cross country team has started off with a bang, taking first at the UTA Season Opener last Saturday and second place at the Bear Twilight Invitational Sept. 1.
Baylor men’s cross country finished first overall at the UTA Season Opener for the second year in a row, and the women finished third.
Baylor cross country began the season well, with the women coming in first and the men finishing as runners-up.
At 5 feet, 91 pounds, freshman hurdler and sprinter Tiffani McReynolds and her tiny frame reel in curious glances at every track meet. But the back of her extra-small jersey burns in the minds of her opponents as she shoots out of the block past the rest of the pack.
