Cooler days are here, complemented by an abundance of fall vegetables, the urge to add cinnamon to every recipe and, most notably, the return of Tuesday Farmers Market. Crafts, games and giveaways will be featured at the Farmers Market Fall Festival from 3-7 p.m. on Tuesday at 400 S. University Parks Drive.

By the the end of this month, the city of Waco will finally have a permanent location for Indian food. The Tandoori Trailer will serve such authentic Indian cuisine as chicken curry, vegetable biryani and garlic naan from a food truck at Franklin Avenue and University Parks Drive.

Selections from San Antonio art collector Joe Diaz’s collection are on display in the Martin Museum of Art from now until November 13th. The collection features the artwork of Hispanic artists, featuring prints and sculptures by the eclectic Luis Jiménez.

Moody Memorial Library has “gone down the rabbit hole” as it and other university libraries celebrate the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.

The tradition dates back to a single day in 1960. In 1970, it grew to accommodate a two-day event. It started out with the name Parent’s Weekend and then became family weekend. Now, over thirty years later, the event has become an experience where the whole family can share in the Baylor experience.
