Baylor students attending the third day of the FM72 conference, an annual prayer event on campus, walked out of the event to the sight of offensive graffiti on some monuments and markers on Tuesday night near McLane Stadium.

“The last time in Waco that we got down into the single digits … in February was 1985.”

Kelly Palmer, after running against two other candidates, claimed victory and will soon represent Waco’s fourth district on the Waco city council.
