While there are movies that obviously fit the bill for holiday movies — like “A Christmas Story” or “White Christmas,” where the time of year is integral to the plot — other movies should make their way onto your seasonal rewatch list.

A part of the Experiential Learning Commons on the Garden Level of Moody Memorial Library, the Moody Makerspace is open to all Baylor students, faculty and staff, with no requirements for major or classification. It houses a variety of tools available for use in personal or academic projects, including a 3D printer, a laser cutter, a computer adapter, a sewing kit, woodworking tools and more.

In remembrance of 9/11, Baylor students and the general public joined Baylor Army ROTC to do a stair climb at McLane Stadium, climbing the entire distance first responders covered on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. Cambridge, England, senior Cadet Sidney Gradney said this is the first time they’ve done this event, which had around 125 attendees.
Temporary repairs on Baylor’s Rosenbalm Fountain were completed last week after it was damaged in a car collision over the summer.
The student government shuttle service, which launched last fall to provide safe and cost-efficient airport transportation, will continue to run through the 2023-2024 academic year. Trips are planned for major breaks, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and spring break.
Student government is preparing for the new school year with a number of goals, including solidifying the airport shuttle service, improving safety and cultivating stronger relationships on campus.
The exercise included Baylor DPS and its branches as well as other local law enforcement, including fire safety and emergency medical services. Police chiefs, directors and emergency management from other universities within the Big 12 were invited to watch the events.
