    Pumpkin Patch at Sancho Rancho | Every weekend in October | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | 981 Coyote Run | $10 per car | This family-friendly event will include food trucks, games, a petting zoo, hayrides and more.

    “West Side Story” Screening | Oct. 8 | 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. | Waco Civic Theatre, 1517 Lake Air Drive | Free | “West Side Story” will be screened at the Civic for the final Hispanic Heritage Month movie showing.

    Makers and Creatives Market | Oct. 9 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Rogue Media Studios, 715 Washington Ave. | Free entry | Over 20 vendors will be in attendance during this downtown market.

    Arts and Crafts Fall Festival | Oct. 9 | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. | Lee Lockwood Library and Museum, 2801 W. Waco Drive | This event will be held indoors and features arts, crafts and more. The proceeds will benefit Central Texas Veterans.

    Waco’s Downtown Farmers Market | Oct. 9 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Courthouse Parking Lot, 500 Washington Ave. | Free | An assortment of local vendors that provide products such as produce, meats and greenery.

    The Edison Marketplace Vendor Fair | Oct. 9 | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | The Edison, 2601 Franklin Ave. | Free | This event is family-friendly and will include music, a bounce house, face painting, food, craft vendors and more.

    Out on the Brazos | Oct. 9 | 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. | Brazos Park East, 3516 N. M.L.K. Jr. Blvd. | Free entry | The Waco Pride Network is hosting Out on the Brazos, which will include various vendors, entertainment, food trucks and family-friendly activities for everyone. There will be an after-party event held at Stay Classy Waco from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.

    Pinewood’s Oktoberfest | Oct. 9 | Noon – 8 p.m. | Pinewood Coffee Bar, 2223 Austin Ave. Unit B | Free entry | This event will have live music, food, a vintage market and a pumpkin patch.

    Running with the Bulls at HOT Rodeo | Oct. 10 | 8 a.m. | Extraco Events Center, 4601 Bosque Blvd. | The one mile fun run is $20, the 5K is $35 | Come out and run with bulls during this HOT event. All proceeds from the event will go toward the Heart O’ Texas Fair and Rodeo Scholarship Fund. You can sign up for the event here.

    Baylor Opera Theatre presents “Goldie B. Locks and the Three Singing Bears” | Oct. 10 | 1:30 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. | Free with museum admission | Mayborn Museum Complex, SBC Theatre | This musical adaption of the traditional “Goldilocks” story can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
