    Baylor Football Announces Starting Quarterback

After a competitive QB battle throughout fall camp, Baylor Football announced via Twitter Sunday that Gerry Bohanon will be the starting QB for the Bears heading into their first game at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 in San Marcos against Texas State. Spending the past three seasons as a backup for Charlie Brewer, Bohanon has appeared in a total of 15 games going into his junior year.

Soccer Gets First Win of the Season

Baylor soccer head coach Paul Jobson picked up career win No. 90 as Baylor soccer (1-1-0) bounced back from their season opening loss against Minnesota (1-0-1) with a 4-0 win against North Dakota State (0-2-0) Sunday afternoon at Dacotah Field in Fargo, N.D. Senior goalkeeper Jennifer Wandt logged her 33rd career shutout in the win, which moved her to fourth all-time in Big 12 history. The team’s next game is at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at home against Nebraska.

    Volleyball Wins Preseason Matchup

No. 10 Baylor volleyball closed out its preseason schedule with a 3-1 exhibition victory against Texas A&M Friday evening at Reed Arena in College Station.
