This season, Baylor Student Publications claimed national awards from several notable press organizations. The Baylor Lariat, Focus Magazine, BaylorLariat.com and Roundup Yearbook were all recognized as the top news outlets in their respective categories for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The Associated Collegiate Press/College Media Association named the Lariat one of the Top 10 collegiate newspapers in the United States and the Roundup a Top 5 yearbook for 2015 and No. 2 yearbook in 2014. BaylorLariat.com also picked up two Top 10 rankings, with one in the Top 5.

The Columbia Scholastic Press Association presented a Gold Crown Award to Focus Magazine for the spring 2015 issue, “Deep in the Heart.” Silver Crown Awards were given to both the Lariat and Roundup for their achievements. The Crown is the most prestigious award the organization bestows. Baylor was the only university in Texas to receive any Crowns.
