Baylor gathers to remember three students

Baylor University’s vice president for student life Kevin Jackson announced three gatherings hosted by Spiritual Life this week. Each is open to Baylor faculty, students and staff and remembers a student who died over Christmas break.

Dear Baylor Family,

As you probably have heard, we lost three students over the Christmas break and we will be feeling the impact of their deaths as we begin another semester. Those who were close to Dustin Chamberlain, Dong Hyun Chin, and Callie Tullos will be grieving the loss of their friends. As a community we want to support one another and also take time to remember and honor these students, so the Office of Spiritual Life has planned three gatherings.

The gathering for those who are remembering Callie will be on Monday, January 9th, at 5:00 p.m. in the Bobo Spiritual Life Center.

The gathering for those who are remembering Dustin will be on Tuesday, January 10th, at 6:00 p.m. in the Bobo Spiritual Life Center.

The gathering for those who are remembering Dong Hyun (Leo) will be on Wednesday, January 11th, at 5:00 p.m. in the Bobo Spiritual Life Center.

We pray for God’s healing presence in these gatherings and in the days that follow.
