The Waco Tribune-Herald says that yet another armed robbery has been reported near Baylor University.
According to the newspaper, police arrived at 11th Street and Speight Avenue within 30 seconds of receiving the robbery call. The 63-year-old woman reported a black man wearing a ski mask displayed a firearm and took her month’s rent.
Nearly a dozen robberies, some armed, have been reported between Eighth and 12th Streets near campus in the past two months.
