Baylor volleyball lost to the Kansas State Wildcats on Wednesday at Ahearn Field House in Manhattan, Kan. The Wildcats won all three sets 25-17, 25-17 and 25-17.

Baylor (12-18, 4-10) hit .194 in the first set. Things only went downhill from there as the Bears hit .026 in the second set and .000 in the third and final set.

Senior defensive specialist Kayci Evans posted 11 digs and sophomore middle hitter Adrien Richburg earned nine kills.

Sophomore outside hitter Kristina Fitzpatrick earned a career-high with nine digs.

Hope Ogden eclipsed the 700-career digs mark in the match and now has 701 digs in her Baylor career.

Prior to 2013, Baylor had never failed to score at least 20 points in one set during a match since rally scoring was implemented in 2001. This season, the Bears have failed to reach 20 points in a set six times.

The Bears next match is at noon Saturday against West Virginia in the Ferrell Center. Senior outside hitter Zoe Adom and Evans will be honored for senior day.
