The Real Estate Network, founded last year by San Clemente, Calif., senior Alec Grace and his older brother, is quickly gaining popularity among students pursuing commercial real estate.

In a world full of AI uncertainties, Dell Technologies arrived on campus to spark curiosity and engage in thoughtful discussions. The bottom floor of Cashion hosted “Coffee and Donuts with Dell Technologies (AI)” on Tuesday morning.
“As someone whose path has led from Baylor to a career at the intersection of arts, entrepreneurship, politics and community-building, I’m excited to help students see that not knowing exactly what’s next isn’t a flaw,” she said. “It’s a canvas of your potential.”
“The Career Center was the main reason that I even figured out what I even wanted to do,” she said.
“I think one of the advantages to Rust is it really helps students to remold their brain –– it really makes you think like a computer a lot more,” Freeman said. “So by design, it forces you to tackle problems in a new way and I think that’s really good for students and gives them a deeper understanding of what is actually happening under the hood.”
I know it’s not everyone’s ideal plan to stay in Waco over the summer. But, there really shouldn’t be a stigma around saving money on rent, utilizing local internships and having time to explore Waco’s culture outside of a busy semester.
It’s like in high school, when people would say student government, prom king or queen and homecoming court are all popularity contests. The well-known people always win. It was networking before we even knew what it was.
“We want the organizations in the school to know that we’re a resource for them and that they can come talk to us,” Prescott said. “HSO is here to serve the business school. We’re not just like any other organization you can join. We have a purpose of serving the people that are around us.”
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers began an official Baylor chapter in May and is now working to create a community for Hispanic engineers at Baylor.
It’s a privilege to be in Greek Life, and I know not everyone has the luxury of spending thousands of dollars on top of their tuition. By the grace of God (and my mother), I’ve had the opportunity to join a sorority with the most amazing group of women.
Professors are there to assist you in achieving your academic goals and your success. They are there for you. So, get off your high horse in thinking that you don’t need to go to office hours. Take advantage of the opportunity by showing them your interest in their class and gain support that will benefit you for the rest of your life.
Baylor’s Missions, Service and Public Life is hosting Missions Week next Monday through Thursday. During the week, there will be free events, giveaways and information on how students can serve around the world.
The Baylor Black Alumni Alliance is hosting its second reunion this weekend with a ceremony, tailgate and worship experience, allowing alumni to reconnect with each other and celebrate achievements.
Around 80% of students who do internships have full-time jobs by the time they graduate. Rylander said students who have good experiences at their internship can land a full-time job either at the same company or through the skills they have gained.
College students looking to create job opportunities for themselves sometimes turn to Greek Life as a source of networking during and after college.
