After incoming freshmen are notified of their acceptance to Baylor, they have until May 1 to submit their deposit. The Golden Wave Band uses the few weeks between the deposit deadline and the start of freshman advising in early June to reach out to any committed freshmen who may have band experience in their background.

Yogurt fanatics will have even more choices in the near future. The wife and daughter of Baylor’s head football coach, Art Briles, will open a frozen yogurt shop called Oso’s— that’s Spanish for “bear”— in less than two weeks, Staley Lebby, Briles’ daughter, said.
The Baylor University Symphonic Band will perform under the baton of associate director of bands Isaiah Odajima, guest conductor Gary Green and graduate conductor Steve Dailey at 7:30 p.m. today at Jones Concert Hall in the Glennis McCrary Music Building. This event is free and open to the public.
